I chose this title because of the author. It was fascinating to read Andrew Lang's "other" interests (besides folk and fairy tales). This read a bit dry and was not "stories," but mindset of the day and retellings of actual sightings and events of people in the late 1800's and earlier. There was nothing spooky about it, as it was written very matter-of-factly. Interesting, but not a quick read. Curious people and thoughtful (thinking) people who wonder about such things could benefit from its contents.Product details

I thought that it was an interesting read with lots of good information.
I could read it and put it down and decide to pick it up later.
Was hoping for more from this book. I would like to see if there are other books that offer more along this line.
